Just a quick little note to say thank you to all the parents who came to the party. It's so important for a child to have a parent there. These are short parties - 30 minutes - you can stay an hour if you like. I always feel sorry for the children whose parents just don't show. These kids wait and wait looking at the door every time the bell rings.
The children have been tired. I think a lot of them are fighting off illness. Please watch for signs. Illness is a fever, green mucus, vomiting, ear ache, bad coughing, headache, stomach ache, and general malaise. Children incubate illness quickly. A child who wakes up needing over the counter medication needs to be left at home.
We've been working on indoor play. Please note the new character chart in circle time to see what your child has won and done. It might help you to work on social skills at home. Please TALK to your child.
We will be sending out some lists of needs for the Thanksgiving play. We will begin working in earnest next week. The play will be the Friday before Thanksgiving.
