Monday's Tattler

Good Morning!

It looks like it's going to be a hot week!

Regular classes today - gym shoes and socks please! We are trying out a possible new teacher. His name is Mr. Denny.

Swimming on Tuesday and Wednesday. We would all like to see more swimmers. It's been a positive experience for the kids this year, and more kids are really swimming. Keeping them where they belong and encouraging swimming rather than prattle has been a huge success.

On Friday we will be going to Mammoth Cave. This is a very long trip. We will leave the school at 8:00 and travel south for 1.5 hours and then have a potty break. We will arrive at Mammoth Cave picnic spot at 11:30. We will eat lunch and then mosey over the the potty at the cave tour entrance. We will tour from 1:00 - 3:00, take a quick potty break again and then climb the bus for home. We will be back at 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Please do not dress children for the cave. It will be hot all day on the bus, and inside the cave, the temp is 57 degrees, and this temp becomes comfortable quickly. We will be walking two hours, so you really don't need jackets or sweaters. Please do not bring winter clothing. Children in winter clothing will be sent home.

School shirts are an absolute. No shirt, no trip.

Please do not send children who are ill.

If you have questions about the trip, please ask Miss Judy. Reservations go in today.
