Child Care Board to decide fate of baby twin
(Sunday, 09 October 2005) - -

The Child Care Board will act in the best interest of the twin baby girls found by the roadside.

This is the response from chairman David Harper as to whether or not nine-month-old Destiny and Beyonce Small, will be returned to their mother, Somolena Small.

The girls were found on Jubilee Gap, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday and taken into custody by the Child Care Board.

Ms. Small wants her children back but Mr. Harper says what happens to them will depend in part on the outcome of police investigations.

Mr. Harper also says the agency will seek to interview both parents and use all available resources, before a decision on custody of the twin.
