Local Family

The Garden School has taken up a collection of diapers, underwear and formula for the storm relief. We have called the Red Cross and they won't return our calls. We thought we would give this donation to this family. Any comments?

Local family needs your help

by Mike Jantzen

An Evansville family needs your help this weekend.

Steve and Jeri Kitch have 7 children, and one on the way.The family has been homeless for the last 5 months, living in parks, hotels, and on the streets, until now.

An Evansville woman has agreed to sell them her home at a very low price... The problem is that the house needs a great deal of work.

This is where you come in... This weekend, missions of love will help the kitch family rebuild their new home from floor to ceiling so that it`s a safe home for the soon to be family of 10!

If you can help the Kitch`s move into their home you can contact Simpson United Methodist Church, hasgoe cleaning systems, or contact missions of love... The home renovation blitz will take place starting Friday morning and they hope to have everything completed by Sunday.

Yes, let the Kitch's have the items you mentioned. The Red Cross should have the courtesy to return your calls but didn't so they lost out.
